When Emily contacted me to gift her mom, Kathie, a photography session for Mother’s Day I was so excited! But then she hit me with a secret to keep…Emily and her husband, Brett, are expecting their first baby! Lord knows I love maternity sessions, especially those that are also a surprise announcement to their parents! We decided to use the beautiful Fairview - Riverside State Park in Madisonville, Louisiana as their portrait location. Spring is the perfect time to have sessions here, I mean just look at how green the grass is!
