As we enter the hot and humid summer months in the south, we experience a lot of changing weather conditions and sporadic rain showers almost daily— as I write this the clear sky just turned dark and rain is now pouring down. But on Sunday God blessed us with an hour of beautiful, sunny weather just in time for Janet and her family’s portrait session at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville, Louisiana. We were able to capture these precious memories that will last a lifetime!

The best gift of all is family! When Taylor’s husband contacted me to gift the lovely ladies in his life a Mommy and Me session, I was thrilled!! Being a mom myself, having others take pictures of me with my two kids is everything. Most mothers only have selfies with their children, and very few pictures they didn’t take with a cell phone. To be able to give these ladies a professional photo of themselves with the people they love most is as much as a gift for me as it is for them!
