Memorial Day Weekend 2021

After a LONG year of not getting to see family and friends, we are finally starting to get back to living our lives with our loved ones near by again. Every year since I was born, Memorial Day has been spent at our family’s camp in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. When Aaron and I had our kids, we decided to carry on my lifelong tradition. Our family and friends gathered together, on the Jordan River, to celebrate the military soldiers who gave their lives to protect our freedom and way of life here in the United States.

We spend our holiday weekend on my parent’s pontoon boat cruising the river and enjoying the beautiful weather God gave us. Of course we also stopped at some small beaches along the river, and had fun splashing and playing in the water. Even our pup, Toby, enjoyed the boat rides. One of our days, Aaron launched his two jet skis. Avery, in particular, loved getting to go fast and jump the waves down the canals.

I was so blessed to have a family camp to go to every summer, and bring along friends. Now my kids are doing the same. Our friend Brandon has been able to come to our camp with his family since he was born, and join in our tradition! It is such a blessing getting to watch my two kids and their best friend grow up together!
