Sara Shepard

I am having a moment while writing this! I was only ten years old when this high school senior (aka my cousin) was born, and I am not ready to face the fact that she is graduating this May. It feels like yesterday I was at my Uncle and Nanny’s home in Slidell, Louisiana holding Sara for the first time and playing with her on their living room floor. It’s been such a blessing watching her grow and blossom into such a smart, gorgeous, young lady!

Sara is a senior graduate at Mount Carmel Academy! She has been accepted and will be attending college at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge this fall. We chose the beautiful city of Bay St. Louis to take her portraits in, and as always downtown did not disappoint! With the upbeat community and timeless architecture, Old Town Bay St. Louis is a great place to stay or visit for the day. As we were bringing her session to an end, God created the most perfect sunset and it gave me all the feels as I came to the realization she is now a grown up and not just my baby cousin anymore. But I could not be more proud of her and I am so excited to see where college will take her!

Congratulations Sara on your acceptance to LSU, and I wish you the best of luck as your start your journey into adulthood! Keep in touch! Miss you already!
